The Sino-German Symposium, which is organized by the Sino-German Research Group for Separation and Analysis of Complex Samples, was held at the same time as the analytica Conference in 2008. Prominent German and Chinese scientists, such as Dr. Morello and Prof. Dr. Boos of LMU München or Prof. Dr. Liu Hu-Wei, Bejing University, who specialize in the field of chromatography held lectures on the latest developments in science and research. Organizers are hopeful that the Sino-German Symposium will be held in conjunction with the analytica Conference again in 2010.
