A total of 342  exhibiting companies participated in this year's analytica, which is a 26.7% increase compared to the number of exhibitors in 2006. The number of visitors who attended the fair increased by 53.6% to an impressive total of 13,146 visitors in three days, among which 9,091 registered for analytica China and the rest 4,055 for IFAT China which is the collocation trade fair for environmental protection.
 
An independent survey conducted during the fair confirmed the outstanding success of leading platform for analysis, laboratory technology, diagnostics and biotechnology in China and Asia. 97% of the visitors surveyed said that they were planning to attend analytica China again. The fair also received top marks from the exhibitors, 89% of whom indicated that they were planning to participate again in 2010. An impressive 92% of all exhibiting companies stated that they would recommend the fair to others.
