analytica China is being held in Shanghai, which has the largest concentration of chemical and pharmaceutical companies in China, for the fourth time. Shanghai is the leading economic, commercial and financial centre in China. The region plays a key role for the overall Chinese market, which tops all other industries with an increasing GDP of e.g. 13,3% in 2007. analytica China is held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), one of the most modern trade-fair centres in China.

The technical infrastructure, equipment and services of the SNIEC meet the highest international standards. That also applies to the SNIEC’s sophisticated architecture. Currently SNIEC, has 9 exhibition halls with 103.500 m2 of indoor exhibition space and 100,000 m2 of outdoor exhibition space. SNIEC plans to complete of all its facilities and reach full exhibition capacity by 2010. By then, the Center will contain 200,000 m2 of indoor floor area and 130,000 m2 of outdoor area. SNIEC's future expansions will cement its market leadership in China and secure Shanghai's position on the forefront of East Asian exhibition destinations.
